Burn Ban Still In Effect
Despite the containment of the recent 4,000-acre Railroad fire, Clay County Officials are urging citizens not to light fires, as the county’s burn ban remains in place.

Orange Park Library To Host Cat Cafe
The last day of May will bring an overload of cuteness to the Orange Park Library. On May 30th, from 10 am to 1 pm, library patrons will have the opportunity to hang out with cats while perusing the library’s books at a pop-up Cat Cafe.

Matthew Mitchell, a teacher at Clay High School, came through in a big way to show appreciation for Clay County’s Bus Drivers.
On April 28th, Mitchell surprised the bus drivers with breakfast from McDonald’s, snacks, and other treats for Bus Driver Appreciation Day.

Man Charged With Mibbleburg Murder And Arson
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Kareem Robinson Johnson in connection with the murder of Reginald Eldridge Gantt in Middleburg.
Gantt’s body was found in a burned car in the area of Mimosas and County Road 218 on April 6th.
