I am no supporter of Daniels, but if a convicted felon can run for the highest office in our country.....Maybe Daniels should be able to run.

Florida law states only legal residents of Florida can run for office in Florida. Daniels signed a sworn statement in Alabama to receive his homestead exemption stating he is a legal resident of Alabama.

Hi Rachel, no one is saying he should not be able to run because of the charges he was acquitted of. The story outlines how he has possibly violated campaign and election laws

Leave the man alone. All the charges that were thrown at him he spent 2 years fighting and guess what he was found NOT GUILTY. Let the man run.
