Orange Park Town Council member Kenneth Vogel will participate in an online question-and-answer session on February 12th. The ‘Ask Me Anything’ (AMA) will happen on a new Facebook group co-created by Clay News & Views contributor Josh Allen.
After being elected last year, Vogel is running for re-election to the Orange Park Town Council. Vogel ran for office on the hopes of strengthening the town’s local businesses while retaining its hometown charm.
Vogel had this to say about why voters should choose him last year:
"Because I'm not a politician. Every one of our citizens want the same thing that you wanted from me, to be heard, listened to, and ask questions. I recognize that I cannot solve or receive recognition for anything alone. This is a community effort and council's job is to be a steward of this community."
Voters will have the opportunity on February 12th to ask him questions about his quest for re-election.
The “Clay County Pulse” group was created to foster honest, transparent conversations about local politics while not shying away from challenging topics and questions. The group, like Clay News & Views, is designed to help the people of Clay County be more informed about their county.
Join the Clay County Pulse group to participate in the upcoming AMA. Invite your friends and help spread the word. Submissions will begin at 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
