Brunchville in Middleburg opened in November and, as you can guess, has a breakfast and lunch menu. It’s a bright addition to the Burg restaurant scene, open seven days a week, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..
I visited Brunchville at 11 on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was nearly full, but I was able to be seated immediately. The decor was bright and welcoming, with dark blue walls and murals. There was music in the background as well as two widescreen TVs on mute. There are 12 tables as well as counter service.
The server was friendly and helpful regarding meal recommendations. She offered refills consistently and checked in frequently, which I appreciated
There was a variety of beverage choices including sweet tea as well as fresh squeezed orange juice. Their tea was nicely sweetened, just as promised.
I started with the two-egg breakfast, which included a side (I ordered home fries), meat and bread. I added grits and sausage gravy. Everything was fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The sausage gravy could have used a little kick but they did offer hot sauce. The home fries were my favorite, crisp and lightly salted.
For dessert, I got the apple cobbler a la mode. It was the star of the meal. The apples were spiced and the cobbler topping was wonderful. Vanilla ice cream was the veritable cherry on top.
If you are looking for breakfast or lunch choices in Middleburg, give Brunchville a try. I think you will be pleased.
